Our Children Are Our Future

We have a wonderful program for children and youth at the church each Sunday afternoon 4:00 - 5:30 pm.  All children in the community are invited to join us!

 

SPAGHETTI LUNCHEON

April 13, 2008

The UMW is planning a spaghetti luncheon to begin immediately after Worship Service on April 13.  We will be serving spaghetti, salad, bread, drinks, and dessert.  This is a fundraiser for our Fellowship Hall kitchen renovations and we will be accepting donations. 

 

GOLF TOURNAMENT

May 10, 2008

The Finance Committee is planning a golf tournament for May 10 at Quaker Creek Golf Course.  Quaker Creek is located at 2817 Barnett Road, Mebane.  Directions can be found at http://www.quakercreekgolf.com/directions.html.Registration begins at 8:00, with a shotgun start at 8:30.  The format is Captain’s Choice and the fee is $50 per player.  Each golfer will receive beverages, snacks, lunch, beverage cart services, chances for door prizes, a goody bag, and one mulligan for game play (extra mulligans will be available for purchase).  The winning team will receive $100 cash per player (4 person team).  There will also be prizes for 2nd place team, closest to the pin on all par 3 holes, longest drive on hole 9.  A putting contest will also be held at the turn for great prizes.  If you want to enter a team, please contact James or Cindy Sanes at 336-376-9314 or email sanes9314@bellsouth.net.
