"Helping Hands" is a church and community mission outreach. The 'Hands' were set up under the Service Committee and Dee Woodlief has worked with Doan Laursen and John Hardy to establish a project review process especially for projects for individuals and in the community. Contact one of the committee members about special gifts or needs to be considered.

As you can see from the photographs, the church has benefited from the skilled work of Doan and John. They need continued moral and monetary support to broaden the mission to the community. When Hurricane Isabel came ashore last fall, the Service Committee called on "Helping Hands" to be emissaries to the MERCI Center in Goldsboro. They also assisted on work projects in eastern NC for families affected by the damaging winds and water.
